  I'm a local and I've been coming to this spot for a year and been raving about how well the sushi was to my friends. However after tonight's experience I would have to say I value service just as much as the food. I went in with my girlfriend and got the all you can eat, my girlfriend already had dinner so she didn't want anything. After my mains came out, my girlfriend decided to order the chicken teriyaki and noodles for herself. I ordered many drinks and been spending a lot of money here for the past year, I decided to order some ice cream and didn't think it would have been a big issue giving my girlfriend the 1 extra scoop of ice cream that I got, especially after spending about $80 on dinner. However as soon as my girlfriend held the spoon our waitress publicly embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend by saying she was not allowed to eat it since she didn't order the all you can eat in front of all the other guests. I understand that it's policy, but you would think after spending so much and being regulars they wouldn't make a big deal over one scoop of ice cream. My girlfriend was really upset and embarrassed and the extra scoop of ice cream went to waste. Customer loyalty and employee empowerment is a very important tool for businesses to thrive in the long term, and even after expressing the fact that we consistently spend over $60 every time we're here, the staff rather see the ice cream melt away and go to waste rather then to please it's customers. They did absolutely nothing to remedy our concern, and I will never come back here to eat or recommend this place to my friends.

  Poor service, orders screwed up, and complimentary diarrhea. NEVER AGAIN
  
  What a turn of events. My family decided to try Sushi as we love Sushi and Sake Sushi had a 4+ rating (which now I think is Fake), our orders got mixed up, Sushi left on counter for 15 minutes before the server was reminded of missing order, and the server responded by saying "Sushi must be crispy by now"??? Seriously?? Where are the food standards??? Long story short.. we didn't wanted trouble and left the restaurant after paying. Shortly after I threw up, and we all have uninterrupted supply of s**t coming out.
  What a mistake to have visited this place. NEVER AGAIN.

  Normally this is my favourite sushi restaurant to go to given that they have a large variety of items to choose from, it's all you can eat and the food arrives fairly quickly. However my last visit here was disappointing, came here with my boyfriend and we noticed that they had removed quite a few items off the menu, so we generally order quite a few items and notice that they arrive to our table at the same time but at our recent visit we waited 20 minutes to get our food. We understand if it gets busy but all the waitresses were standing around chatting to each other and every other table was getting their food except for ours. So we mentioned it to one of the waitresses and she checked on our food and brought it right out. Than when we sent our order again for some more food we were again waiting another 20 mins. It was just ridiculous. And than when it came down to paying when we were about to leave the waitress had the audacity to mention her tip, which I did not tip at all given the crappy service that was received. I probably will no longer visit sake sushi because of the rude and inconsiderate staff that clearly do not care about customer satisfaction.

  I've been here four times with various party sizes (2-26), and the most recent was yesterday evening. Stellar food and service for all events. Last night, we didn't make a reservation for a party of ten but they still managed to put some tables together for us at 8:30p. Good selection of food (includes Arctic char) that are relatively good quality, diverse desserts (tempura ice cream, cheesecake, mousse cake, etc), and super fast service; all the servers were very polite, water was never empty, and even asked us if we wanted more ice cream by the end of our dinner since they noticed we were a ravenously hungry group. Highly recommended! One of my favourite AYCE sushi places.

  This was our first time coming here and it was absolutely amazing and delicious!! We came on a Saturday night and there was a bit of a wait to be seated cause the place was packed but it was well worth the wait! Service is excellent and so efficient, you have your food within minutes of being seated.
  
  We will definitely be returning!
